Boston's South End revitalized

The northeast part of Boston's South End has changed greatly over the last year. The ongoing construction work on the former site of Boston Herald as well as redevelopment of Albany and Traveler Streets brings 4 new residential buildings with rental apartments and retail space on the ground floors.

Living1The Ink Block apartment complex features 3 residential buildings on Harrison Avenue. Residences offer studio, one, two and three bedroom units. Common amenities include skyline pool, outdoor entertainment lounge areas, clubroom, fitness center, pet grooming and play areas, garage parking, on-site car detailing, cleaning and grocery delivery. The new Ink Block also has one of the biggest Whole Foods stores in the city that will open in less than a month.

13067Troy Boston is another new apartment complex that will open its doors to new residents in January 2015. The complex is comprised of 2 buildings - an 11-story building on East Berkeley Street and a 19-story building on Traveler Street. Apartments range from studio to one and two bedroom units and offer wood floors, custom cabinetry kitchens with stone countertops, custom closets and in-unit washer and dryers. Both towers share common courtyard and parking. Building amenities include rooftop terraces with barbecues and fire pits, rooftop lounge, outdoor swimming pool and cabana deck, yoga and fitness studio with cardio and resistance equipment, as well as outdoor dog run area and dog wash rooms.

All residential complexes are pet-friendly.

And location is great. Easy access to I93 and I90, minutes away from Downtown Boston and Back Bay. Public transportation is within a short walk. Restaurants and shops - and just about everything city has to offer.
