This week's Neighborhood Restaurants hot spot will take you to the Theater District in the city of Boston. The place is called Artisan Bistro at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Residences near Boston Commons. Artisan Bistro is an ideal place both for business lunches and breakfasts, as well as pre-show dinners and everyone who is looking for combination of new and traditional American cuisine.
Our last night pre-show dinner experience at this neighborhood restaurant was very delightful. The service and food were impeccable considering that we had less than an hour for a quick dinner before the show. Coming with no reservation, we were promptly seated at the bar, and quickly ordered drinks and appetizers to start off. The drinks' list has great well-priced wine choices, as well as quite interesting list of handcrafted cocktails.
Salmon Tartare was a flavorsome appetizer that came mixed with cucumber, avocado and a sweet touch of granny smith apple puree. We have also tried their Truffled Mushroom flatbread covered with onion and gruyere cheese. Crunchy and absolutely delicious. We could not pass to try their gourmet Bistro burger that came with a side of yummy handcut fries. As well as Bistro's Grilled Jumbo Shrimp entree with pea and lemon risotto cake was heavenly delicious and mouthwatering.
Great pre-show dining experience will definetely make us come back for other occasions. Artisan Bistro is a spot to go for anyone looking for delicious food and awesome atmosphere in downtown Boston.
