The Kensington
Located on the border of Chinatown and Theater District neighborhoods, the Kensington rises 27 stories up and brings over 300 apartments to the area, as well as commercial retail and office space on the ground level.
The Kensington project is located on the land where the Gaiety Theater used to be until its demolition in 2005. Therefore, developers of the Kensington project will also assign a display space for all saved artifacts of the Gaiety Theater.
The building opened in 2013. Kensington offers open one beds, one and two bedrooms, as well as penthouses with amazing city views.
Apartments at the Kensington Place feature high ceilings, oversized high performance windows and oak floors. The common amenities include a skydeck with an outdoor pool overlooking Downtown Boston, a yoga studio, an entertainment, business and cafe lounges where residents can meet with friends, catch up on their work or school, and simply relax. The great addition to all amenities is a groomroom where residents' pets can get pampered with professional equipment.
This smoke-free building meets the standards for Leed Gold certification and welcomes eco-concsious living in the heart of the city.
